Salsa Class For Kids!

Baila Boogaloo Dance Co. presents KIDS SALSA & Latin Dance! Little dance star/starlet at home, little couch potato, video game champion or shy flower….Baila Boogaloo is dedicated to teaching Latin dancing and movement to everyone INCLUDING KIDS!!

Kids Program 7-14 years old- no partners necessary! Students will learn from trained and experienced instructors- the heart and basics of Latin dancing. A wonderful opportunity to expose children to music and culture, increased self esteem and discipline, exercise in a fun social activity. Through this experience kids are able to express their creativity and have fun in a safe and encouraging environment.

Class Descriptions- In this introduction to Latin dancing (Salsa and Merengue) the emphasis is on movement, musicality and coordination.  The class will start with a warm up which is then followed by learning different choreography and dance steps individually and with partners.  Children learn a choreographed piece that will be performed at end of the semester.
